Brief
The User Experience of a Blockchain Certifier and Verifier The certifier and verifier is a software application developed by TiiQu Ltd which allows institutions to issue certifications that are rich in details and can be instantly verified by anyone at any time. The collaboration will aim to:
- Analyse the existing certifier and verifier system to gain familiarity with it.
- Identify the structure and level of detail a degree certification from Northumbria would need to ideally have.
- Test the certifier and verifier system to identify user experience improvements for both the institution issuing certifications, the recipient of the certification and the institution verifying the integrity of the certification.
- Implement the user experience improvements
Solution
My team needed to look into the software used by TiiQu to understand how it works and to understand what areas make it frustrating for the user.
Product Analysis
We started by looking at user demographics by creating mind maps and looking into what type of user we would be targeting. We looked at how the user would interact with the product as well as meeting focus groups to gain a better understanding of our target audience.
Ideation
Producing the first initial wireframes once we had completed looking at the user research and speaking to the focus group

Prototyping our first ideas showing off some of the new features to improve the user flow and experience.

After seeing Laura (CEO of TiiQu) we gained feedback and moved on to develop the high fidelity mock ups.
